Decree No. (2011) 5 Regulations of the People's Republic of China for Management of Navigation Safety for Surface and Underwater Activities released by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China was officially put into force as of March 1, 2011; Regulations of the People's Republic of China for Management of Maritime Navigational Warnings and Navigational Notices was implemented as of February 1, 1993. At present, the South China Sea area is in a stage of large-scale development, especially the deepwater development projects, which have become the major battlefield for competition of international oil companies. CNOOC will, with the determintation of building the "Offshore Daqing", fully implement the strategy for overall development of the deepwater oil and gas resources in the South China Sea.

Vessels and platforms that our company is acting as the agency are mostly operating in the SAouth China Sea oil fields, so a lot of underwater operations need to be declared in accordance with Regulations of the People's Republic of China for Management of Navigation safety for Surface and Underwater Activities.
